We already have vendors offering Internet Protocol (IP) based PBX systems, IM vendors offering presence awareness, PDA servers allowing you access to corporate Intranets; Microsoft is betting its future on secure ‘network centric’ and ‘always available’ enterprise with its Longhorn (a.k.a. Palladium) initiative.
